Sandra Matondo Bongila is the founder and president of New Wine Foundation. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) specialized in acute dialysis and practicing in over 30 US states. 

 

Every day her goal is to help her patients to temporarily forget their struggles while she cares for them. Her position as a travel nurse exposes her to different situations and people which contributes to her continued desire to help others.  Ms. Bongila started many charitable works on her own before deciding to create New Wine Foundation. The first work was the collection of clothes from family, friends and her own to donate to the Mayo clinic Albert Lee’s Women Unit. She also started the distribution of meals and other personal needs to the homeless in Houston Texas. 

 

All the projects, activities and events being conducted by New Wine Foundation are completely financed by Ms. Bongila. This is not being stated so you have pity on her, but to show you her dedication in helping other fellow humans. When she’s not working in the hospital or on New Wine, she spends time in prayer because that is where she gains wisdom and strength.
