Our History

New Wine is a Christian based organization that strives to bring smiles to the vulnerable and deprived people of the United States of America, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, South Africa and Nigeria; namely the homeless, widows, orphans, and street children.  New Wine believes giving fish to the vulnerable is temporary but teaching them how to fish is a long-term success plan.

New Wine came into existence on July 09, 2019, in Houston Texas, USA. It was founded by Sandra Matondo Bongila, a registered nurse (BSN, RN) specialized in acute dialysis. Sandra was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but now living in the United States of America. 

Our Mission

To follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ in assisting and motivating the vulnerable and deprived people we serve in the United States of America, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria. We also aid single mothers in changing their lives in order to have fulfilled futures.

Our Objectives

Empower widows to break the cycle of poverty by promoting personnel development in every sphere of society.

Increase access to trauma counseling, education and skills training for DRC’s orphans and street children in order to improve their quality of life and create informed adults that will positively impact tomorrow’s society.

Improve the quality of life of homeless citizens in Texas, by connecting them to counselling, jobs and housing assistants.
